November 22, 2011 Present: Will, Melinda, Michael, Wade, Rick, Allen & Saunya
Treas. Report : Regular fund 291.09 Parking lot fund 225.00 for a total of 516.09. All present agreed they wished to put up a tree underwater (2nd annual?) on Sunday 12/11 @ 1:00PM. Will depend on turnout for setup & tree decorations Wed. 7th @ 6:00 PM.. Looking for ideas and dives for 2012. January 19th will be a special presentation from our Scubapro Rep. Joe - this will be a fun event .

Great presentaions thanks for the slide shows- Melinda / Will won short list and Mr Rick won Exp list. Both winners put prize of $25 & $50 from club into the Parking fund! BIG KUDOS, New Biz: Need input on Divecaching? should we do it? How about a christmas card photo shoot?

| June 2011: Dive & BBQ at Clover Pass was Great ! Divers in the water Melinda, Will, Michael, Annette, Steve, Ed, Lou, Alex, Andy, Lisa, Gara, Mike W., Adam, Tim, Jeremy, Allen, Saunya And of Course Several Family members and our Grillmaster Ms Marge- Thanks for cooking instead of diving! :) Kitty had $557.12 (125.00 for parking lot fund) Marge & Saunya obtained meat, buns & misc with club funds of $81.03 . |
| May 2011: No meeting. Steps are completed at Sunset, 2 Club Dives on Thursday's, and The underwater scavenger hunt list is complete, the hunt is on! til August 18 . $ 88.05 was spent for concrete & 1 bag of portland cement. Thanks to Rick, Allen, Josh P. & his brother, Samantha, and Saunya, sunset is easy. |

Treas Rpt: Kitty has a total of 645.12, (175.00 for dive site parking lot & 75. for the steps, with 395.12 in regular fund) . New Biz: What to do about club formation, with no vol. for any group office. Club will be a truly store spons. club with more dive play,projects and fun nights . all agreed. New Biz: Group dive 5/19. Only one qtly function / Biz meeting. Scavenger hunt list meeting on 5/11.

December 2, 2010 Present: Sarah, CJ, Lisa, Nate, Gara, Andy, Will, Melinda, Allen, Rick, Marge, Saunya & Gordan. Treas Rpt $346.12 in Kitty/ $200.00 for steps-trail fund. $50.00 for underwater tree fund. Old Biz: Survey for Proposed U/W park for KGB done. Tim Walker provided video, Mr Hurd provided Pics, Saunya attended Borough meeting, handing over info along with write up from Tim. Tree: Allen cut base, Rick cemented tree in tank base, Sarah & Jess procured decorations, and with Andy's assistance will make them ready for the marine environment on Sat. Tree installation at Sunset on Sunday.
New Biz: Allen is requesting a 4th of July Float for parade, Nate was going to
find out app process. That is All ! |
| October 21, 2010 Present: Rick, Marge, Tim, Sarah, Jessi, Gordan, Saunya, Allen, Steve, Lisa and Andy. Treas Rpt: $282.12 in Kitty $200.00 for Steps & parking area @ Sunset, & 50.00 for tree. Adopt a highway project not indefinetly deferred, most willing to help with shop mile 6 instead. Lisa to find out how much Joes Screen printing will charge for one time artwork, Will offered to pay for artwork with a co in New Yrk(with conditions). Sunset project will be this winter/ spring with the right tides. Tim Will obtain cement for christmas tree and get with AA & RT . New Biz: Saunya requested the club do a minor survey of sorts with pictures on the 33 acres for a proposed marine park the KGB is thinking about accepting. Tim & Andy D will take boats & volunteers out this wkend weather permitting. November/ December Meeting will be December 2nd, for tree decorations and food. The underwater Christmas tree Dives will be December 5th. |

Treas: MIA (lol) Old Biz. Adopt a highway - no sign for just cleaning sunset drive, other decisions deferred. Lisa brought in some t shirt designs for a possible club T shirt. New Biz: Allen, Rick & Tim will get together & cement tree base. No New Biz. Guest speaker : Gary Frietag in Invasive Species was a great presentation ! thanks so much Gary. |
August 19, 2010 Present: Lu, Melinda, Will, Jessi, Tim, Amy, Lisa, Andy, Rick, Marge, Tad, Allen, Saunya & Michael. Treas Rpt. $442.12 + the $50.00 tree fund. Old Biz. Lisa obtained state form & available miles for adopt a hwy program. Allen motioned for mile 8-9 north tongass, Lu 2nd motion. Andy made suggestion to support the Wind & Water mile, or to make sure all
wished to commit to the required cleanups. Rick & Marge suggested the idea of a Sunset Drive mile for cleanup, several members liked the idea so Lisa will see if that is possible. Rick requested the funds due him for BBQ meat be donated to a parking lot fund for Sunset Drive. New Biz: Will suggested a t-shirt for club and will check on cost, etc. Winners of scavenger hunt : Allen, Saunya , Rick all requested prize money be put in the sunset parking lot fund created today. So as of 8/19 that fund stands at $200.00 and we have a new project for winter. Yea !

May 20, 2010 - Present: Marge, Rick, Saunya, Allen, Jessi, Terry, Wade, Caleb, Sarah, Lou, Tim, Don, Matt, Jeremy, Andy. Treasury Report: $319.26 + $50 Tree Fund. Old Business: Mt Pt trail steps done by Snorkel Alaska, Thanks Fred & Crew. Sunset still on hold til fall. New Business: Scavenger Hunt List- 125 as of now and may be thinned out some. Tim, Allen and Rick to assign points & complete list on Tues. Timeline for the Scavenger Hunt- Memorial Day Weekend to the August Meeting (Aug. 19). Prizes 1st- $75, 2nd $50 and 3rd $25. Prizes to be determined at a later date by President and Treasurer. Need underwater pictures for the website, Please bring them into the dive shop on CD or USB stick. Old Biz: Stair project for trails at a standstill until fall as spring/summer not a good time to pour cement, the project continues. New Biz: Sarah made motion to create a tree fund w/the 50.00 donation from poker game. Underwater Scavenger hunt 2010 to commence at May meeting, presentations at the August meeting. Sarah, Allen & Mr. Rick will create the list of 107 items/critters. Officer elections : Welcome to our new club president Mr. Rick, Treas. Ms Sarah and Secretary Ms Jessi. Next meeting 5/20/10. |

Old Biz. four teams submitted golf balls for the poker game, Sarah, Seth & Amelec had the winning hand and had a prize of 50.00. The materials list for steps at bottom of dive trails was deferred until march. New Biz. Matt & Jeremy vol the use of clover pass again this year for dive/bbq in June (exact date to be set later). Tim Vol to do slide show on march. Last but not least Thanks Mr. Peters for a great slide show on Cocos island. |

New Biz: Suggested projects for 2010 - steps at bottom of sunset trail and Mt pt Parking. Decison was sunset first, Rick agreed to come up with a material list for Feb meeting. Treas Report: ms kitty contains 276.15 Club agreed to extend poker game. Steve agreed to present slide show on Cocos island trip for Feb meeting . Sarah mentioned a request for dive buddies for kids spring beach days.

Treas Report- 247.15 . Old Biz. Marge wrote letter to State in Re to Refuge Cove grant per Request from Mary. Underwater poker game to start first week of december. Will hide, Marge & John will put numbers on golf balls. Rick, & Alloways will hide at Sunset & Mt. Point. Poker game hands will be played at January meeting. Prize for winning hand $50.00 New Biz: December meeting will be held at Wind & Water Dive shop Christmas party, Tuesday the 15th at the Ted ferry Civic Center 7:00 PM This is a potluck , the theme is Italian. The meeting will be very short, the party will be very fun.

October 15, 2009 Presentation: Underwater Naturalist - Marge had a great slide show
on swimming scallops, Allen's was on Christmas tree anemone, Angel did a knockout
job on the Tochina nudibranch, and Saunya covered the wolf eel. Present: Tim, Angel,
Sarah, Rick, Allen, Jeremy, Matt, Gordon, Polly, Margie, and John. Treas. Rpt : Miss kitty has 227.15. Old Biz. Group agreed to the sunset drive parking area project. And to have a picnic / dive on the 15th of nov, weather and conditions permiting. Underwater
poker game will start December 1st and end January meeting. Prizes TBD - Rick has
obtained Golf Balls in the amt of a deck of cards. They will be numbered to match cards-
and distributed at the 3 easy access local beach dive sites. Divers will collect and bring
to meeting or send in if out of town. Sooo you have to dive to play, yes in the winter :)
Great idea Mr. Rick- Thanks for starting this ball rolling. New Biz: Mary the park ranger contacted us to write a letter for the park at sunset, she is trying to obtain a grant
for improvements at the site. All agreed, the letter was written by Margie- Thanks so much. All left happy :) we like that ! |

Present : Rick, Marge, Andy, & Saunya - we did have bad weather but you guys missed
out! Old Biz: Mt Point Trail Project not working due to state property owners. So Rick suggested the parking area at sunset dive site. Marge suggested we fill i a bit
at Mt. Point tower where it is washing out. New Biz: Rick suggested a winter
underwater poker game of sorts with details to be ironed out by Nov. Saunya
suggested a possible bbq/dive in nov. meeting ended with chucky's slide show. |

July 16, 2009 Presentation by Scott Walker/ ADF&G - SE Marine Life
Present: Lou, Polly, Tim, Angel, Allen, Saunya, Donald and Patricia, Andy ( after work) :)- Rick & Marge sent an email from Kona( so sad to miss- sure) and of course Scott. Many Thanks Scott for an excellent presentation.
Treasure Rpt. $425.79 in the Kitty. Old Business: Trail project is at a standstill, Jeremy did a way good job getting in touch with land owner- they have sent an application which requires a fee of 500.00(they could reduce to 250.00) to be processed and see if we can do the trail work. We reviewed at meeting and it appears to be a land use application as opposed to an improvement. We should discuss more during the next meeting. Allen will check w/ a few commercial operators to see if they have a use permit and do trail that way. Saunya Requested thought on some other projects we could do for this year. New Business: next meeting is the scavenger hunt, members voted to make it a seafood or (seefood?) potluck. presentations should be limited to 15 min each submission. Tim volunteered to check with the aquarium project folks as a possible speaker for future dive club meeting. |
June 18, 2009 Dive & B-B-Que at Clover Pass Resort
Present: Brian & Jen, Matt, Jeremy, Rick & Marge, Angel & Scott,
Andy, Lou, Donald & Patricia, Travis, Cody & Mrs., Amelec, Kirk, Allen & Saunya and several cool kidz! What a fun evening. First we want to thank Jeremy and Clover Pass for the great dive and allowing us to use their wonderful facility. Thanks to all for the great side dishes. In light of the over purchase of hamburgers & hot dogs which got put in the freezer maybe we can have another bbq & or dive in august or sept on a weekend this time? While we did not have a formal meeting the following is an update on club biz. Treas Rpt. Was @490.51 with a $64.72 expenditure for the BBQ Left Ms Kitty At
$425.79. Project Aware foundation will supply the Ak mental health trust a nonporfit
number they want so we may proceed with this years project. More info at July meeting.

Old Biz: Mt Point Harbor Project is still in approval process with owner, but all looks promising thus far. Site for June meeting/bbq verified for clover pass resort, thanks Jeremy. Dive club will buy hamburg, hotdogs(meat stuff :) side dishes to be potluck. New Biz: Photo contest will start memorial day wkend- all approved! Photo contest awards provided by dive club in the amount of 75.00, 50.00 and 25.00 . Still need meeting topics for
September, November and December. Will try to get one on Commercial diving & / or chambers. Presentation for the evening on Closed Circuit Rebreathers most enjoyable! Tanks Alot Rick & Steve. |

Old Biz . Scott Walker w/ give presentation in July. Annual Scavenger Hunt will start June 1st. Org & Og(you should have been there) will make up the critter list this yr. June club event will be a beach BBQ / Dive- Jeremy will confirm location for us.
